December 28 2023:  The sea ice has continued to increase, but at a lesser rate of 2.44% (from last week’s growth rate of 4.37%), from the level on 12/21/2023 of 12.606 M km2 to 12.921 M km2 for this week. The negative sea ice anomaly evolved from -0.136 M km2 on 12/21/2023 to a greater negative anomaly of -0.244 M km2 on 12/28/2023, and so is more anomalously

December 21 2023:  The sea ice has continued to increase, but at a lesser rate of 4.37% (from last week’s growth rate of 7.83%), from the level on 12/14/2023 of 12.055 M km2 to 12.606 M km2 for this week. The negative sea ice anomaly this week was lower than the anomaly of -0.210 M km2 on 12/14/2023 to a lesser negative anomaly of -0.136 M

December 14 2023:  The sea ice has continued to increase, and at a greater rate of 7.83% (from last week’s growth rate of 6.29%), from the level on 12/07/2023 of 11.111 M km2 to 12.055 M km2 for this week.  The negative sea ice anomaly this week was lower than the anomaly of -0.646 M km2 on 12/07/2023 to a lesser negative anomaly of -0.210 M

December 7 2023:  The sea ice has continued to increase, and at a greater rate of 6.29% (from last week’s growth rate of 2.51%), from the level on 11/30/2023 of 10.412 M km2 to 11.111 M km2 for this week.  The negative sea ice anomaly this week was lower than the anomaly of -0.830 M km2 on 11/30/2023 to a lesser negative anomaly of -0.646 M

November 30 2023:  The sea ice has continued to increase, but at a nearly equal rate of 2.51% (from last week’s growth rate of 2.54%), from the level on 11/23/2023 of 10.151 M km2 to 10.412 M km2 for this week.  The negative sea ice anomaly this week was higher than the anomaly of -0.582 M km2 on 11/23/2023 to a greater negative anomaly of -0.830

November 23 2023:  The sea ice has continued to increase, but at a lower rate of 2.54% (from last week’s growth rate of 6.01%), from the level on 11/16/2023 of 9.893 M km2 to 10.151 M km2 for this week. The negative sea ice anomaly this week was higher than the anomaly of -0.331 M km2 on 11/16/2023 to a greater negative anomaly of -0.582 M

November 16 2023:  The sea ice has continued to increase, and at a steady rate of 6.01% (up a bit from last week’s rate of 5.64%), from the level on 11/09/2023 of 9.298 M km2 to 9.893 M km2 for this week. The negative sea ice anomaly this week was lower than the anomaly of -0.396 M km2 on 11/09/2023 to a lesser negative anomaly

November 11 2023:  The sea ice has continued to increase, but at a slower rate of 5.64% (down from last week’s rate of 11.68%), from the level on 11/02/2023 of 8.774 M km2 to 9.298 M km2 for this week. The negative sea ice anomaly this week was greater than the anomaly of -0.343 M km2 on 11/02/2023 to a greater negative anomaly of -0.396 M
