ARM Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Rapid Response

The UAF ARM (Atmospheric Radiation Measurement) Rapid Response team of Telayna Wong and Ross Burgener support two ARM observatories: a mobile station located at Oliktok Point and a more extensive site in Utqiagvik, Alaska, where various meteorological instruments collect publicly available data around the clock.

The ARM Rapid Response team ensures data quality, helps troubleshoot IT and instrument issues at the sites, and supports field projects. The ARM Rapid Response team also provides special support as the mentors for the MASC (Multi-Angle Snow Camera), the PIP (Precipitation Imaging Package), and video cameras that capture shots of the site and various instruments.
