Highlights

Colder than normal temperatures across most of Alaska; multiple new low temperature records were observed in King Salmon.

Less than normal precipitation across the Interior, Bristol Bay, and much of the West Coast.

Snow has arrived in Alaska, with some locations experiencing multiple snow events.

Arctic sea ice reached the twelfth lowest extent and one of the lowest extent of multiyear ice in the 43-year satellite record.
