Wind speed and direction data are available for the Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) stations at airport locations.  Wind instrumentation is standardized to a height of 10 meters.  

The graph and table below show the monthly and annual mean wind speeds, as well as the absolute maximum winds and their date of occurrence for each month and annually. The analyses are based on hourly observations for the period listed next to the station. 

Maximum values marked with an asterisk (*) indicate maximum sustained wind values, while those that are unmarked are maximum wind gust values.
