Highlights

Nome had a mean monthly temperature of 0.6°F this March, 9.7°F below the normal of 10.3°F. The highest temperature for the month was 26°F on the 31st, while the lowest value was -23°F on the 1st.

Precipitation was significantly lower than normal with 0.01” measured, just 2% of the normal of 0.65". Snowfall was likewise very low with just 10% of normal with a total of 0.9". The average wind speed was 3.4 mph while the highest was 33 mph from a northwesterly direction on the 14th and northerly direction on the 31st.
