Highlights

44.2°F was the average temperature in Nome during June, 2.6°F below normal. The reported high was 70°F on the 21st and the low was 25°F on the 3rd and the 4th. Precipitation for the month was measured at 1.16", 3% above normal.  A new record precipitation amount was recorded on the 14th, when 0.41" fell.  The old record was 0.33" set in 1978.  Winds averaged 10.3 mph at the airport and a high gust of 35 mph occurred on the 1st.
