Kodiak’s temperature in March was just 0.7°F above the normal of 32.8°F, with a monthly mean of 33.5°F. The warmest temperature observed this month was 46°F, on both the 29th and 30th, while the coldest was 9°F on the 15th

Precipitation was lighter than normal, with 3.96" observed or 72% of normal. Snowfall, however, was near normal, with 11.5" observed just 0.2 above the 11.3" normal. The average wind speed was 9.0 mph, with the greatest gust being 53 mph from a southwesterly direction on the 14th.
