It was warmer than normal in July for Kodiak with a monthly mean of 57.0°F observed, 2.5°F above the normal of 54.5°F. The highest temperature for the month was 74°F on the 2^nd, while the coldest was 45°F on the 15^th. 

Precipitation was about half of the normal of 4.93", with only 2.58" observed. The average wind speed was 6.8 mph, while the greatest wind speed occurred on the 19^th, at 36 mph from a westerly direction.
