Highlights

Kodiak was cooler than normal, having a mean temperature of 52.0°F, 2.5°F less than the expected mean of 54.5°F. The maximum temperature for the month (66°F) was observed on the 27th, and the minimum temperature was 40°F, reported on the 4th. The low temperature of 43.0°F on the 25thtied the minimum temperature for that day, a record set previously in 2000.
Precipitation was 18% less than normal, with a total of 4.05" compared to the normal amount of 4.93". The average wind was 6.7 mph, while the highest wind gust occurred on the 10that 37 mph, blowing from an easterly direction.
