Highlights

In King Salmon the average temperature for November was 15.2°F, a significant 7.7°F below the long-term mean of 22.9°F. Temperatures were below normal for most of the month with the exception of a about week around the 12th. The minimum temperature (-4°F) for the month was reported on the 23rd and the 29th, while the maximum temperature occurred on the 9th at 50°F, tying the daily record high set in 1993.
King Salmon experienced a greater than normal amount of precipitation with a total of 1.60", 0.21", or 15%, above the long-term mean. Total monthly snowfall was 2.9", 4.0" below normal. The average wind speed was 11.1 mph, and the highest gust of 44 mph occurred on the 2nd, blowing from a northerly direction.
