In King Salmon, the average temperature was 43.5°F, normal for May.  A high of 70°F was recorded on the 27^th and the low was 22°F on the 1^st. 0.68" of precipitation was measured this month, 50% of normal.  Snow fell only 7-days throughout the month, totaling 0.2", but by the 25^th, no snow was left on the ground.  Winds at the airport averaged 9.8 mph and on the 10^th the highest gust of 47 mph occurred.
