King Salmon June 2014


Highlights

The monthly mean temperature for King Salmon was 50.4°F in June, -1.1°F below normal. The highest temperature for the month was 75°F on the 25th, while the lowest was 28°F on the 3rd. This represents a new record low, breaking the 1982 record low of 32°F for that day, further the 32°F recorded on the 16th tied the old 1970 record low for that day. 

Precipitation was 1.65" above normal, with 3.25" recorded. The average wind speed was 8.5 mph, while the greatest wind speed was 43 mph on the 6th, from an easterly direction.
