King Salmon December 2013


Highlights

King Salmon was near normal this December, with a mean monthly temperature of 21.5°F, 2.9°F above normal. The warmest temperature for the month occurred on the 6th, with a warm 54°F, which also smashed the od daily record of 48° set in 2002, while the high temperature on the 7th of 45° tied the daily record set in 2005. The coldest temperature was on the 16th, with a chilly -12°F.

1.13" of precipitation was recorded for King Salmon, 92% of normal. Snow was also lighter than normal, with a mere 3.2" of snow recorded, -6.3" less than the normal of 9.5".
