Ketchikan December 2013


Ketchikan had a monthly mean temperature of 36.6°F this December, which is 1.3°F above the normal of 35.3°F. The highest temperature for the month was recorded on the 14th and 26th, at 50°F. The coldest was 18°F on the 6th.

Precipitation was almost double than the normal amount for the month, with 27.68" of precipitation recorded, 195% of the normal of 14.23". On 11th a daily record amount of water equivalent was measured, with 5.04" of precipitation breaking the 1962 record of 2.30".
