Highlights

Ketchikan had a mean monthly temperature of 45.4°F, 2.9°F above the normal for April. The highest temperature for the month was 62°F occurring on the 12th, while the lowest was 31°F on the 2nd. The high temperature of 61°F on the 13th set a new daily record, breaking the old record of 60°F set in 1963.

Precipitation was lighter (39%) than normal, with 3.67” measured and 9.38” normally expected.
