Highlights

Ketchikan was slightly warmer than normal in April, with a monthly mean of 43.7°F, 1.2°F above the normal of 42.5°F. The highest temperature recorded this month was 57°F recorded on the 24th, while the lowest was 29°F which was observed on the 3rd and 4th.

April's precipitation was much higher than normal with 21.21" observed for the month, 226% of the normal of 9.38". Contributing to the large amount of precipitation was the 4.67" observed on the 8th, which broke the 2006 record of 3.81".
