Highlights

Juneau's mean monthly temperature for November was 36.1°F, 2.7°F above normal. The highest temperature for the month was 48°F on the 21st; this tied the record high set in 2005. The lowest was 20°F, set just two days later on the 23rd.

Precipitation was double the expected amount, with 12.02" measured and 5.99" expected. This is the wettest November on record for King Salmon, breaking the 2003 record of 3.89" by 0.95". Snowfall was just 127% of the normal 13.1", with 16.6" recorded. On the 18th 10.0" of snow was recorded breaking the old daily record for that of 9.4" day set in 1966. The average wind speed was 9.9 mph, while the highest wind speed was 51 mph on the 12th from a southeasterly direction.
