Juneau in July was 0.5°F warmer than expected with a mean monthly temperature of 57.4°F observed. The highest temperature was 72°F on the 6^th, while the lowest was 45°F on the 31^st. 

Precipitation was 180% more than normal, with 8.26" of precipitation observed, compared to the 4.60" that is normal for the month. This is the second wettest July, quite a bit short of the 10.36" from 1997, and followed the wettest June on record. The average wind speed was 6.3 mph, with the greatest wind speed occurring on the 12^th from a southeasterly direction at 32 mph.
