Juneau in July was 0.5°F warmer than expected with a mean monthly temperature of 57.4°F observed. The highest temperature was 72°F on the 6th, while the lowest was 45°F on the 31st.
Precipitation was 180% more than normal, with 8.26" of precipitation observed, compared to the 4.60" that is normal for the month. This is the second wettest July, quite a bit short of the 10.36" from 1997, and followed the wettest June on record. The average wind speed was 6.3 mph, with the greatest wind speed occurring on the 12th from a southeasterly direction at 32 mph.
