January’s mean monthly temperature for Juneau was 29.8°F, 1.5°F above the normal 28.3°F. The highest temperature for the month was 46°F on the 26th, which also set a record for that day, breaking the old 2016 record by 1°F. The lowest temperature was 9°F on the 11th.

Precipitation was measured at 6.27”, 0.92” above normal, while snowfall was just 3.7”, just 13% of the expected 27.7”. The highest wind speed was 52 mph from a southeasterly direction on the 27th while the average wind speed was 9.2 mph.
