Due to the above normal temperatures less precipitation fell as snow then expected, which explains the above normal precipitation, but the below normal snowfall. The average wind speed was 6.6 mph, and the maximum wind speed of 42 mph occurred on the 17th, blowing from a southeasterly direction.
