Highlights

Juneau was warmer than normal with a monthly mean of 56.8°F observed, 0.9°F above the normal of 55.9°F. The 2nd and 3rd had the warmest temperature for the month, with 77°F observed on both days, while the lowest occurred on the 20th and 21st at 44°F.

Precipitation was 49% heavier than normal with a total of 8.53”. On the 9th 0.99” were recorded breaking the 1990 record for that day of 0.80”. The next day 1.53” of precipitation fell, breaking the 1944 record of 1.04”. The average wind speed was 8.2 mph, with a greatest wind speed of 34 mph from a southeasterly direction on the 17th.
