Temperatures in Fairbanks averaged 2.9°F at the airport, 6.7°F above normal for February.  The high temperature was 37°F on the 19th, and the low was -33°F on the 5th. Precipitation totaled 0.15”, 42% of normal.  2.5” of snowfall was recorded this month, 4.8” less than the normal February total.  13” of snow was on the ground by the end of February.
