The high of 40°F the next day also set a new record, toping the 39°F from 1969. The lowest temperature for the month occurred on Christmas day, the 25th, at -29°F.

Snowfall was also much lighter than normal, with a mere 9% of the 12.1" normally expected with 1.1" of snowfall measured. The highest wind speed was 30 mph from a northerly direction on the 17th. The average wind speed was 2.2 mph.
