Highlights

In June, Delta Junction had a monthly temperature of 63.2°F, 5.6°F higher than the long term normal. A chilly 39°F was the coldest temperature recorded this month, on the 12th. A hot 90°F was the highest temperature for the month, occurring on the 25th and 26th, and both of these were new daily high records. On the 25th, the daily maximum high broke the old record set in 1983 by 4°F, then again on the 26th the old record of 86°F from 1983 was broken. Back in the 16th the high of 84 topped the old record of 81°F set back in 1948.

Precipitation was a mere 55% of normal, with 1.28" recorded.
