Delta Junction January 2014


Highlights

Delta Junction was substantially warmer than normal this January, with a mean temperature of 15.5°F, which was 16.5°F over the normal of -1.0°F. The warmest temperature for the month was 50°F occurring on the 23rd, which also set the record for that day, breaking the old record of 44°F reached in 1977 and 1981. The high the next day of 48°F tied the 1997 record. The coldest temperature for the month was ‑36°F on the 12th.

Precipitation was relatively normal at 0.43", a mere 0.12" above the normal of 0.31".
