Highlights

In Big Delta the mean April temperature was 37.7°F, a substantial 5.5°F above the long term mean. The highest monthly temperature of 57°F was observed on the 17th, while the minimum temperature (-4°F) occurred on the 4th. The temperature of 52°F of the 13thmatched the old record high for this day set in 1978 and 1943, while two days later the temperature of 56°F established a new maximum, surpassing the values from 1970 and 1965 by 1°F.
Precipitation in April was reported as 0.11" water-equivalent, slightly less than half of the expected amount of 0.23".
