The highest temperature for the month was 72°F occurring on both the 15th and the 27th, setting a new daily record for the 15th, breaking the old 2014 record by 7°F. The high of 71°F on the 13th tied the record set in 1996. The lowest temperature for the month was 34°F on the 2nd and 5th. This was the second warmest May on record, with only 2014 having a warmer mean monthly temperature by 0.5°F.
