Anchorage's mean monthly temperature for June was 59.5°F, 4.3°F above the long-term mean of 55.2°F. This is a record high for June, just topping the 59.4°F from 1958. The highest temperature for the month was 83°F on the 15th and 16th, each a new daily record high. On the 15th, the old record had been 82°F from 1969, while for the 16th, the previous record had been set two years ago at 79°F. The coldest temperature was 46°F on the 10th.

The precipitation for the month was 0.93", just 0.04" below average. 0.40" of precipitation fell on the 2nd, setting a new daily record for that day, beating the old record, set in 2013, by 0.02". The mean wind speed was 7.7 mph, while the highest wind speed was 38 mph from a southeasterly direction on the 30th.
