In June 2014 Anchorage had a mean monthly temperature of 53.8°F, -1.4°F below the normal amount. The highest temperature for the month occurred on the 29^th at 72°F, while the lowest was 39°F on the 3^rd.

Precipitation was heavy in June, with a monthly value of 3.33", while only 0.97" was expected, resulting in 343% precipitation of normal. This was the 2^nd wettest June in Anchorage, after the 3.40" from 1962. Correspondingly three new daily precipitation records were set on June 10^th (0.50"), June 21^st (0.73"), and June 25^th (0.78"). The average wind speed was 7.3 mph, with the greatest wind speed of 41 mph occurring on the 6^th, from a southeasterly direction.
