Highlights

Anchorage was cooler than normal, with an average temperature of 55.5°F, 3.3°F below the expected temperature. The maximum temperature (73°F) occurred on the 18th, while the minimum temperature (45°F) occurred on three days: the 6th, 9th, and 10th. July's temperatures were typically cooler than the expected trend for the month.
Precipitation was slightly higher than normal, 2.14", or 17% above normal. The average wind speed was 6.8 mph, while the strongest gust of 40 mph was observed on the 20th, blowing from a southeasterly direction.
