September 23, 2021: Over the past week the sea ice has now increased from last week by a rate of 2.89% from the level on 09/16/2021 of 4.740 M km2 to 4.881 M km2 for this week. This marks the end of the sea ice loss season, with a minimum value of 4.740 M km2 for 2021.
