October 27, 2022: Over the past week, the sea ice has continued to increase at a higher rate from last week of 13.58%, from the level on 10/20/2022 of 6.893 M km² to 7.976 M km² for this week; a pretty healthy increase over a week period.

The negative sea ice anomaly this week was less than the anomaly of -1.724 M km² on 10/20/2022 to a less negative anomaly of -1.266 M km² on 10/27/2022 and so less anomalously negative for this time of year.
