November 28, 2024: The Arctic sea ice has continued to increase this week but at a lower rate of 4.66% (as opposed to last week’s increase rate of 5.34%), from the level on 11/21/2024 of 9.580 M km2 to 10.048 M km2 for this week.

The negative sea ice anomaly this week was greater than the anomaly of -1.0080 M km2 on 11/21/2024 to a more negative anomaly of -1.0477 M km2 on 11/28/2024, and so more anomalously negative for this time of year than last week.
