Arctic Sea Ice Extent: July 1, 2021

July 1, 2021: Over the past week the sea ice has now decreased from last week by a greater rate of 8.11%, from the level on 06/24/2021 of 10.191 M km2 to 
9.365 M km2 for this week.  The rate of loss at this time is looking very much like that from 2020.
