December 1, 2022: Over the past week, the sea ice has continued to increase but at a slightly higher rate from last week, of 4.55%, from the level on 11/24/2022 of 10.250 M km² to 10.739 M km² for this week.

The negative sea ice anomaly this week was slightly less than the anomaly of -1.007 M km² on 11/24/2022 to a very slightly less negative anomaly of -1.002 M km² on 12/01/2022 and so slightly less anomalously negative for this time of year.
