Highlights

Barrow observed a mean temperature of 7.5°F for the month, 6.8°F above normal. A nice 35°F was the highest temperature recorded this November, which occurred on the 9^th and 10^th. The high of 35°F on the 9^th was a new daily record, breaking the old high of 32°F set in 1978. Meanwhile on the 21^st, the coolest temperature for the month was observed at -19°F. Temperatures tended to stay well above normal amounts for most of the first half of the month.

Precipitation totaled 0.42", double the normal of 0.21". Trace amounts of precipitation, or more, were measured on 29 days of the month. The mean monthly wind speed was recorded as 15.9 mph with the highest gust (48 mph) measured on the 11^th, blowing from a westerly direction.
