Highlights

The mean monthly temperature for Barrow's was recorded at -10.3°F, 3.1°F above normal. The highest temperature for the month was 18°F on the 30th, while the lowest was -30°F on the 28th.

Precipitation was double the normal amount, with 0.26" observed. Snowfall was also heavier than normal with 4.6" of snowfall observed, 2.0" above normal. Contributing to both the increased precipitation and snowfall were two daily records set, on the 21st, the 2.0" of snow observed broke the old record for that day from 1991 by 0.9", and also on that day the snow water equivalent of snowfall of 0.07" broke the old 1991 precipitation record for that day by 0.02". The mean snow depth was 6", 3" below the 9" that was expected. The average wind speed was 13.3 mph, while the highest was 43 mph on the 30th coming from a southwesterly direction.
