King Salmon had a mean monthly temperature for October a whopping 9.3°F above normal, with 42.8°F recorded, and 33.5°F normally expected. The highest temperature for the month was 61°F on the 8th, which also set a record for that day, beating the old 2009 record by 3°F. The lowest temperature was 14°F on the 31st. Two other daily records were set; on the 26th the high of 53°F broke the old record of 50°F set two years ago. Then on the 27th a temperature of 55°F was recorded breaking the old record for that day of 52°F set in 2013.
