Highlights

King Salmon reported an average temperature of 45.1°F, 1.6°F above the long term mean. The high temperature for May was 65°F, recorded on the 27th, and the lowest temperature was 26°F on the 1st and the 13th was the last day with frost. The precipitation total was measured as 1.93", 43% above the long-term mean. Remarkably, the 31st brought 0.56" of rain, more than 40% of the normal monthly amount. It was also a record rainfall for this specific day. Average wind speed was 10.2 mph and the highest gust was recorded at 51 mph on the 25th.
