In June, King Salmon was 3.8°F above the normal temperature of 51.5°F, with a monthly mean of 55.3°F. The warm temperatures set two records; on the 15^th 79°F was observed, breaking the old daily record of 72°F set in 2007. Then on the 18^th, the observed 81°F broke the 1962 record by 1°F. The 18^th was the warmest recorded temperature for the month, while the coldest was on the 7^th, when a chilly 33°F observed. This was the second warmest June on record for King Salmon.

Precipitation was only 64% of the expected amount, with 1.05" recorded. However, on the 30^th, 0.75" fell, breaking the record for this day set in 1982 by 0.40". The average wind speed was 9.1 mph, while the greatest wind speed was 43 mph, on the 30^th, blowing from a southeasterly direction.
