Highlights

Ketchikan had a March mean monthly temperature of 43.8°F, 6.0°F above normal. The highest temperature for the month was 65°F on the 31st, which also set a record for that day, breaking the 1926 record of 62°F. Daily records high temperatures were tied twice: on the 2nd the high of 50°F tied the record from 1966. Then the record of 53°F from 1966 was tied on the 18th. The lowest temperature for the month was 30°F which occurred on both the 17th and 18th.

Precipitation was near normal, with 10.47" measured and 10.89" expected.
