Ketchikan's average temperature of 55.0°F in June was 1.2°F above the long-term mean. The highest temperature of the month measured 72°F on the 27^th, while the low temperature of 46°F occurred on the 17^th of the month. While the mean monthly temperature was somewhat above the expected value, nevertheless the daily temperatures followed fairly closely the long-term normal values. Monthly precipitation was measured at 2.84", only 41% of the expected value of 6.95" for June.
