Juneau had a mean monthly temperature of 40.2°F in October, 2.2°F below normal. The highest temperature for the month was 57°F on the 6^th. The lowest temperature was 24°F occurring on the 11^th, 12^th, and 13^th, on the 13^th it set a record for that day for the lowest temperature breaking the old 1992 record by 2°F.

Precipitation was lighter than normal with 2.59” measured, just 30% of the normal 8.63”. Snowfall, however, was much higher than normal with 5.7” recorded, and just 0.8” normally expected. 5.1” inches of the monthly snowfall occurred on the 16^th. The average wind speed was 4.1 mph while the highest wind speed was 37 mph from an easterly direction on the 13^th.
