Highlights

Juneau had a monthly mean temperature of 41.0°F, near the normal of 40.8°F. The highest temperature for the month was recorded on the 30th at 60°F, while lowest was 24°F on the 12th.

Precipitation was 91% of normal, with 2.67" of precipitation observed. A new daily precipitation record was set on the 7th with a total of 0.80", breaking the 2000 record of 0.75". Snowfall on the other hand was very low, with 0.3" of snowfall observed, 0.8" lower than the 1.1" normally expected. The greatest wind speed was 42 mph on the 7th from a southeasterly direction, while the month had an average wind speed of 6.9 mph.
