Juneau April 2010


Highlights

Juneau recorded slightly above normal temperatures, precipitation and snowfall in April. The average temperature was 41.9°F, 1.1°F warmer than the mean, and the high and low temperatures were 66°F on the 27th and 24°F on the 10th. Precipitation was just 4% higher than normal, measuring 3.08”. Snowfall occurred for one week in April, the 3rd through the 9th, producing 2.8”, almost three times the normal monthly amount. Winds at the airport averaged about 5.3 mph and a gust of 36 mph was reported on the 3rd.
