Highlights

Big Delta reported a mean temperature of 50.5°F, 2.7°F above the long term mean. The high temperature of May was 81°F reached on the 28th, but the temperature arrived at on the 27th May (79°F) is a new daily record high, topping the old record of 77°F established in 1947. The low temperatures for the month occurred on 7th and 8th, both with 24°F and the last frost (T< 32°F) occurred on the 13th, fairly late in the season. Precipitation was light totaling 0.17", only 22% of the normally expected amount.
