Anchorage was cooler than normal in November, with an average temperature of 17.7°F, 4.5°F below the expected temperature. The maximum temperature (33°F) occurred on the 2nd and 11th, while the minimum temperature (2°F) occurred on the 21st. November temperatures tended to be colder than normal with the exception of a few days around the 13th.
Precipitation was very low at 0.23", only 20% of normal of 1.16". Snowfall totaled 3.3", 9.8" below the expected amount. Anchorage reported less than half the normal snowfall for the winter season so far. The average wind speed was 5.9 mph.
