January 25, 2024:  The sea ice has continued to increase, and at a greater rate of 1.68% (from last week’s growth rate of 0.81%), from the level on 01/18/2024 of 14.034 M km2 to 14.274 M km2 for this week. The negative sea ice anomaly this week was less than the anomaly of -0.046 M km2 on 01/18/2024 to a smaller negative anomaly of -0.038 M

January 18, 2024:  The sea ice has continued to increase, but at a much lesser rate of 0.81% (from last week’s growth rate of 3.38%), from the level on 01/11/2024 of 13.920 M km2 to 14.034 M km2 for this week. The negative sea ice anomaly this week was less than the anomaly of -0.096 M km2 on 01/04/2024 to a smaller negative anomaly of -0.046

December 21 2023:  The sea ice has continued to increase, but at a lesser rate of 4.37% (from last week’s growth rate of 7.83%), from the level on 12/14/2023 of 12.055 M km2 to 12.606 M km2 for this week. The negative sea ice anomaly this week was lower than the anomaly of -0.210 M km2 on 12/14/2023 to a lesser negative anomaly of -0.136 M
