November 14, 2024: The Arctic sea ice has continued to increase this week but at a lower rate of 6.95% (as opposed to last week’s increase rate of 10.61%), from the level on 11/07/2024 of 8.438 M km2 to 9.068 M km2 for this week.

The negative sea ice anomaly this week was lower than the anomaly of -1.096 M km2 on 11/07/2024 to a lower negative anomaly of -1.008 M km2 on 11/14/2024, and so less anomalously negative for this time of year than last week.
