Arctic Sea Ice Extent 4-11-2019

April 11, 2019: This week the sea ice has decreased by 3.19% from last week's level of 13.963 M km2 to 13.517 M km2 for this week; and so we are well under the extent of ice as in 2017 (magenta line) which was the lowest all-time for this time of year. This indicates that we are at that very lowest point for this time of the season in the entirety of the record
